When you take your puppy home I will give you some Canidae to get you started.  If you choose to feed your new puppy a different dog food I would suggest it be a high quality food.  You can discuss with your veterinarian the right kind of food for both you and your dog.  I would only suggest if you change their food you do it slowly.  If you change their food abruptly they may get diarrhea.
